Affecto Foundation is a registered Non Governmental Organisation mandated to carry out charity work across Kenya. It was registered on January 16th, 2018. Besides assisting patients access treatment in our hospitals, Affecto’s primary objective is to offer scholarships to bright underprivileged students. In 2018 and 2019, we have successfully sponsored 70 students in secondary schools across the country.
Affecto Foundation selects these students from the general population. We provide them with access to quality education, offer leadership training and mentorship to create a vertical pathway for transition into leadership positions and meaningful society members.
The vision is to develop a group of ethical change makers who have a multiplier effect to generate positive social change not only to their immediate environs but also to the world at large.
The organisation intends to sponsor 400 new bright but underprivileged children every year.
In addition, we have kept a close relationship with schools to ensure that we are able to respond sensitively and effectively to the needs of the beneficiary students – academically and socially.
We coordinate funding for bright but needy students from donors and sponsors and through volunteers we offer career guidance and support.
